Rohit Shetty is all set to bring back his cop universe with Singham Again, which will star Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar in extended cameos. He has also introduced Deepika Padukone as the fourth cop in the universe, and has unveiled her first look.

Padukone will play the role of police officer Shakti Shetty, described by Shetty as "the most brutal and violent officer of our cop universe." This makes her the only actress to be a part of both the spy and cop universes created by Rohit Shetty and Aditya Chopra. It also marks her first collaboration in a film universe with her husband, Ranveer Singh, who plays the role of Simmba."

It is not yet clear if Padukone will share the screen with Singh in 'Singham Again', but she is expected to have a spin-off movie that focuses on her journey as Shakti Shetty. Details of the spin-off movie are yet to be revealed.

'Singham Again' is expected to have gone on floors earlier this month. It is the third film in the Singham franchise and the fifth film in Rohit Shetty's cop universe.
