Sonam Kapoor celebrated her first Mother's Day after giving birth to her son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, in the United Kingdom on March 19, 2023. Her husband, Anand Ahuja, planned a charming little surprise for her to mark the occasion, her husband, Anand Ahuja, planned a charming little surprise for her.

The actress shared some pics of their celebration on her Instagram stories. Sonam tweeted a photo of her beautifully furnished room. Anand has filled the room with hydrogen balloons and gifts, as shown in the photo. Sonam lavished admiration on her husband as she shared the glimpses.

Sonam and Anand married on May 8, 2018, after dating for a few years. Vayu Kapoor Ahuja was born on August 20, 2022. He was born in Mumbai. Sonam and her family are now in London; the star moved to the city following her marriage and divides her time between Mumbai and London.

Sonam was most recently seen in the Netflix film AK vs AK (2020), directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. Sonam co-starred in the thriller with her father, actor Anil Kapoor, and brother, actor Harshvardhan Kapoor. In it, Anurag Kashyap and Anil play fictionalized versions of themselves. Sonam will next be seen in the Hindi thriller Blind, in which she plays a blind police officer on the hunt for a serial killer. The film is directed by Shome Makhija.
