On March 16, the newlyweds held a lavish wedding reception that was attended by people like Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, among others.

In attendance at the reception to wish the couple well as they start a new phase in their lives were Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Jaya Bachchan, and Congressman Shashi Tharoor.
Niazi Brothers performed at a qawwali night organised by Swara and Fahad on March 15. The leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), Akhilesh Yadav, also witnessed the event. She wore a black velvet ethnic suit with golden embroidery for the ceremony, and it made her appear stunning. On Twitter, she posted the images and stated: “Yeh jo halka halka suroor hai! Qawwali Night at #SwaadAnusaar (sic).”
In a video posted to Twitter to proclaim her marriage, Swara described how she and her future husband met at a protest. I wish the couple luck as they start a new journey.
