Tara Sutaria on sequels; 'There's a set audience that comes back for sequels'
Tara Sutaria's Bollywood career began with Student of the Year 2. She will now feature in Heropanti 2. In a recent interview, she reveals her interest in acting in film sequels.
Tara Sutaria is now one of Bollywood's most popular actresses. She has a slew of exciting projects in the works for her fans, including Heropanti 2 and Ek Villain Returns, in which she will co-star alongside Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor. Fans are eager to see her do her magic on the big screen. She is currently promoting Heropanti 2 in full swing, as the film is slated to hit theaters on Friday, April 29th. Tara recently spoke out in an interview and shared her thoughts on sequels.
Tara revealed in a recent interview that working in sequels is not a calculated decision on her behalf, and that she takes on a project because she enjoys being a part of it. She said, "It is not a conscious decision, I said yes to them because I loved the idea and I thought I would enjoy being part of them. I do feel there is a set audience who perhaps loved the first part and they would be in to watch the second part."
She added, "Besides, these are all family films and I have grown up watching family films. I don't think about commerce and all, to me it is about entertaining family audiences through my work."
The actor will next star in Ek Villain Returns, a sequel to the 2014 film Ek Villain, in July. The film also stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani.
