India commemorated its 75th anniversary of independence on August 15. A number of Bollywood superstars sent their best wishes to mark the occasion. Popular Bollywood film industry figures Kajol, Karan Johar, Rana Daggubati, and AR Rahman have chosen to join forces for a series highlighting India's progress as a country to uphold the spirit of patriotism.

The six-part series, titled "The Journey of India," will be produced by Warner Bros. Discovery.

According to the Indian news agency Press Trust of India (PTI), the six-part series commemorates India's 75th anniversary of independence. Each edition of the show, hosted by famous megastar Amitabh Bachchan, will highlight a prominent voice to emphasize a significant issue in India's progress.

Actress Kajol reportedly expressed her gratitude for being engaged with a program that showcases the rich history of Indian cinema, as reported by PTI.

Actor Rana Daggubati, well known for his role in the Baahubali series, will be honored with Indian author and wildlife campaigner Latika Nath, according to the news agency.

The Michelin Star chef Vikas Khanna will examine the palatability of Indian cuisine, paralleling his roots to its influence on global cuisine, to further add to the allure of this upcoming project, according to the news agency. Renowned Indian author Amish Tripathi will also pay tribute to India's diversity of religions.
