Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan are two of the most loved stars among the current crop of actors. The duo are also coming together for the first time in Sajid Nadiadwala's upcoming romantic comedy 'Bawaal', which will hit the theatres in 2023.
If BTS videos shared by both the actors on their respective social media handles are anything to go by, then the duo are always pulling pranks at each other and goofing around on the sets. Nevertheless, fans are eagerly looking forward to their fresh chemistry in 'Bawaal'.
Recently, both Varun and Janhvi attended Film Companion's Roundtable Conference alongside actors like Anil Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Dulquer Salmaan, Rajkummar Rao, Rishab Shetty, Sheeba Chaddha and Vidya Balan. During the conversation, Varun spoke about the changing phase of cinema and how the covid-19 pandemic impacted the industry.
Janhvi flashed an awkward smile at Varun using the word 'bl**job'
Emphasising that cinema will exist irrespective of the existence of the 'star system', the Badlapur (2015) actor said: “This star system may exist ahead or not exist ahead, who is to say but cinema and art will exist. I mean, it is a great bl**job to everyone's ego that you are a star. But eventually, viewers just want to be entertained.”

Varun's unabashed style and the way he casually mentioned the word 'bl**job' left his 'Bawaal' co-star Janhvi visibly embarrassed. The actress gave an awkward smile as soon as Varun finished his statement. Ater this, many of the actors had a good laugh too.
Varun Dhawan is currently filming with Janhvi for 'Bawaal'
On work front, Varun Dhawan was last seen in the wolverine inspired drama 'Bhediya', alongside Kriti Sanon. He also starred in Dharma Productions 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' which presented an ensemble starcast including Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
He is currently shooting for 'Bawaal', which will hit theatres in the second half of 2023.
