Vikram Gokhale's daughter dispels death rumors and claims her father is critical

Veteran Bollywood actor Vikram Gokhale is still in critical condition and is being kept alive by a ventilator.

"Not true," declared Dr. Dhananjay Kelkar of the Deenanth Mangeshkar Hospital, where the actor is currently receiving treatment, responding to the rumors that he had passed away. On the other side, Vikram Gokhale's daughter informed ANI, "He is still in critical condition, is being kept alive, and is still alive. Continue to pray for him."

The renowned actor's passing was first reported on social media in the early hours of Thursday. Riteish Deshmukh, Ajay Devgn, Aly Goni, and Jaaved Jaafery, among other Bollywood stars, posted condolences on Twitter.

The actor's family disputes press stories alleging his passing.

Vikram's wife, Vrushali Gokhle, assured ETimes that the actor is still alive. He had been in a coma since yesterday afternoon and hadn't woken. He's being ventilated. Depending on whether he is improving, declining, or still not responding, the doctors will decide what to do the following day, according to Vrushali. Vikram Gokhale has been a patient at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital since November 5, according to Vrushali Gokhale. "He made some progress but then relapsed. He has experienced a variety of problems, including kidney and cardiac problems. His many organs are failing right now, she said.

Vikram Gokhale was hospitalized in Pune for health issues

Wednesday morning; the Press Trust of India reported that the actor had been admitted to the hospital due to medical issues.

According to medical professionals, as reported by PTI, "Veteran cinema, television, and stage actor Vikram Gokhale has been hospitalized at a city-based hospital following health issues."

PTI stated that the doctors "refused to provide any additional details and said Gokhale's family will provide an update on his health status."

For his roles in movies like Agneepath (1990), Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), and Mission Mangal (2019), to name a few, Vikram Gokhale is best known. These movies were huge successes at the box office then and remain beloved now.
