Vikram Vedha: Directors Pushkar-Gayathri confirm ‘It’s going to be a brand-new film’

Vikram Vedha is a masterpiece created by the director duo team of Pushkar and Gayathri. Actors R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi played lead roles in the Tamil neo-noir action thriller. The Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles is all set to release in theatres on September 30, 2022.

In an interview, Pushkar spoke about how the remake might be a bit different yet the same. The director also mentioned that they haven’t gone too far from the original script. He said, “In terms of the story, we have not tampered too much. Of course, there has been a large part of localization happening with the place we have set in. Above and beyond that, specifically for us what is on the script is that 50 percent and the remaining 50 percent is what the actors bring onto the page."

"When we have a new set of actors doing this, Vikram Vedha is going to be a brand-new film,” added Gayathri. The directors also appealed to the audience to wait for some more time to see what was going to come next.

While the dates for the teaser and trailer are not locked yet, it will be a treat to watch two versatile actors Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan together in one film.
