Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s daughter Vamika was captured on camera during the broadcast of India's third ODI against South Africa yesterday. During the match, the camera focused on Anushka Sharma, who was holding her daughter in her arms. The photos went viral quickly on fan pages and other social media pages.
Netizens quickly compared Vamika’s cute photos with Virat’s childhood pictures. Many were calling her “Mini Virat”. While some were praising her cuteness, others slammed the channel for revealing Vamika’s photos even after being requested by the couple not to earlier.
After photos went viral, the couple took to social media to request people to not share their daughter’s photo. The couple wrote, "Hi guys! We realise that our daughters' images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn't know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stay the same. For reasons we have explained earlier, we would really appreciate it if Vamika's images were not clicked or published. Thank you! "
The internet right now is divided over the sharing and not sharing of pictures of Vamika.
