War 2 To Star Hrithik Roshan And Jr. NTR; Alia Bhatt In Talks For The Lead Role!
War 2 producers reportedly want Alia Bhatt to join their YRF-spyverse alongside Hrithik Roshan.

Alia Bhatt's 2022 acting career was a massive success. All four films in which the actor appeared were box office hits. The actor has reportedly been approached to play the lead female role in an upcoming high-budget action film.
Hrithik Roshan's War 2 reportedly has Yash Raj Films head Aditya Chopra casting for a female lead. The producers of YRF's action film franchise are eager to incorporate Alia Bhatt into the spy universe, which already features Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif.
Apparently, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh are being considered for roles in War 2 by the film's producers, as per reports. “The second part of 'War 2' is going to be even more thrilling than its first part. The pre-production work has begun. The consideration and the zeroing down on the three names that are being considered for the female lead's role has created quite a buzz in the YRF office. It will either be Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt or Sharvari Wagh. A final call is soon going to be taken depending on the date availability of the three ladies,” the report added.

War 2, which will star Hrithik Roshan, will reportedly be directed by Ayan Mukerji. “Aditya Chopra is choosing the captain of the ship for each YRF spy universe film strategically. Ayan has delivered big hits which appeal to all audience segments and has the pulse of Indian audiences. He has shown that he knows how to mount a film with a huge scale, which is essential for someone to direct ‘War 2,’” according to a report.
“He is a young filmmaker who can bring a different kind of newness to the spy universe. Ayan will have his unique take on how to make an epic action spectacle with ‘War 2.’ Aditya Chopra trusts him to take the franchise forward,” the report added.

Rumour is, Jr NTR will play the bad guy in War 2.
