This gave rise to the popular theory that the actress was expecting a child before getting married, and it appears that Karan Johar may have also verified it.

According to reports by a leading news portal, the caption read: “Alia told KJo she was getting married and was pregnant on the same day,” we see Karan Johar recall Alia Bhatt telling him about her pregnancy. Then the actress recalled KJo’s reaction to her marriage news with Ranbir Kapoor. In both situations, Karan seemingly suffered a bad hair day and was wearing a cap and a hoodie. While that can be chalked to a coincidence, the director states that he hardly ever goes through such times.

Watching Karan Johar, it's clear that Alia Bhatt informed him of her pregnancy. The actress then thought back to KJo's response to learning about her engagement to Ranbir Kapoor. In both instances, Karan appeared to have had a poor hair day and was donning a hoodie and a cap. Although that is just a coincidence, the director claims that he doesn't experience situations like that too often.
