Boney Kapoor, in an interview, shared that Sridevi actually saw Janhvi's debut film secretly, contrary to popular belief. Karan Johar had expressed interest in launching Janhvi in a film, even considering casting Sridevi alongside her in a project, 'Kalank.' Although Sridevi couldn't be part of that, she did witness the rushes of 'Dhadak' while she was alive, validating her pride and belief in Janhvi's potential.

Recently, Janhvi reminisced about her first shot being watched by her mom and shared that Sridevi's friend conveyed how proud Sridevi was of her performance.
