When Karan Johar admitted that Twinkle Khanna was the only woman he loved in his life

It's no mystery that Karan Johar and Twinkle Khanna were childhood friends. In Panchgani, the two attended the same boarding school. Ever since the two have formed an unbreakable bond. In fact, Karan once admitted that Twinkle was the only girl he had ever loved.

"She has the rare distinction of having that prestigious part in her historic life, that she has made me fall in love with a woman for the only time in my life," Karan said at the launch of her book Mrs. Funnybones in 2015. Twinkle confirmed his confession, saying, "Karan has admitted that he was in love with me." I had a little mustache at the time, and he used to say, 'That's hot, I like your mustache.'

Karan also criticized Twinkle for breaking his heart by turning down Tina's character in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The part was later offered to Rani Mukerji. "Of course, my heart was broken years later when she turned down my debut film, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.' "She contends she did me a massive favor by doing so because she went on to help Rani Mukherjee, who eventually ended up playing the part," Karan explained.

There's no doubt that Karan and Twinkle remain close. Twinkle is now wife to Akshay Kumar and has two children, Aarav and Nitara. Karan, on either hand, is a single dad to his surrogate twins Yash and Roohi.
