Actress, VJ and host Anusha Dandekar is all set to start a new phase of her life. She recently welcomed home her godchild and she just cannot contain her excitement. Sharing a series of pictures on social media, the MTV VJ shared how exhilarated she is to call the child her own.

“I finally have a little girl I can call my own… introducing this Angel of mine, Sahara… the ultimate love of my life. Monster and Gangsta and I are going to look after you, spoil you and protect you forever and always! I Love you baby girl, your Mummy," she captioned the pictures.

Post Anusha's revelation about her godchild on social media, many fans misinterpreted the situation and assumes that the child is Anusha's own. This prompted Dandekar to share a story in which she explained that the baby is her godchild (adopted) and not her own daughter.

"Hey everyone the outpour of love is completely loving and so sweet!!! But she is my GOD DAUGHTER!!! Hence I can finally call her my own," Anusha wrote.

Noteworthy, Anusha Dandekar broke up with her long time boyfriend Karan Kundrra who is now dating TV actress and Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash.

Anusha has a younger sister Shibani, who's married to Bollywood actor, singer and producer Farhan Akhtar, son of veteran lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar.
