Why do South Indian film fans fiercely object to these B-town ladies appearing in their flicks?
From Janhvi Kapoor to Alia Bhatt, South Indian moviegoers have rejected and disapproved of Bollywood actresses because they believe they fall short of the standards necessary to be considered South Indian film heroines.

Since there are credible rumours that the Mili actress will star opposite Ram Charan in Buchi Babu's upcoming film, and the producers have even contacted the actress for the role, Janhvi Kapoor has been making news. By focusing on one film at a time, Janhvi has been steadily carving out a place for herself in the industry and has been praised for her remarkable performances.
Fans of Ram Charan have been vocally against Janhvi Kapoor being in the RRR actor's movie, arguing that she won't be a good fit for him and that the directors should instead choose a South Indian woman to play his opposite. While there is no official confirmation of Janhvi doing the movie, these are simply rumours.
Prior to Janhvi, Alia Bhatt also received harsh criticism when it was revealed that she will be appearing in SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's film. Many warned the director that they would boycott the movie in theatres if Alia was cast in it. Now, Pooja Hegde will be playing the female lead.
There were many South Indian film fans who unfairly blamed Ananya Panday for Liger's box office failure, and she too received a negative evaluation. The girl received mockery for the movie's poor performance.
Vidya Balan
Making a name for themselves in any sector, whether it be Bollywood, the south, or another, is not simple for any actress. However, there was a time when South Indian and other actresses were denied by creators for becoming a part of the film, and one of them is Vidya Balan who experienced tremendous rejection. Today, people are opposing these B Town actors making an entry in the south flicks.
Raashi Khanna
Another actress who complained about encountering strong opposition from the south for unsuitable reasons was Raashi Khanna. She allegedly said she was turned down because she was too attractive and that no one took her seriously. The debut of Raashi in Bollywood is awaited as she will star alongside Shahid Kapoor.
Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu, who is gradually gaining a reputation for herself in Bollywood, endured abuse in the south Indian film industry, rejection for not having a nice appearance, and being labeled as a serious performer.
