About Kartik Aaryan’s next

The actor Kartik Aaryan is a producer's dream. With his film ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ breaking a record at the box office. He recently announced that his next will be the third part of a series titled ‘Aashiqui 3’.the first film was directed by Mahesh Bhatt in 1990 and the third will be by Anurag Basu. The film is supposedly produced by T-Series and Vishesh Films. The 1990 original starred Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. The second film was released in 2013 and was directed by Mohit Suri and starred Shraddha Kapoor opposite Aditya Roy Kapur.

Who will the leading lady be?

Since the announcement fans have asked who will be cast opposite Kartik Aaryan. The rumour mill brought forth two names Jennifer Winget and Shraddha Kapoor, either of the two will be cast as the leading lady. The makers recently issued a statement regarding the same, "There is no truth to any rumours pertaining to the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in ‘Aashiqui 3.’ The search for the perfect fit for the movie is still ongoing. We are currently in a very early stage where we are still coming up with ideas for the movie. Much like the audience, we are eagerly awaiting to finalise the female lead of the film and would love to share it with the fans as early as possible."

Kartik Aaryan recently shared the first look of the film ‘Aashiqui 3’. He captioned it, "Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum. Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum #Aashiqui3. This one is going to be Heart-wrenching !! He also made the official announcement with a group photo featuring Anurag, Pritam, Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar.
