Released on 02nd March, the Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan is standing strong in Chinese markets. This is the first ever Salman film to get released in China and is still minting hefty figures. Originally, the movie was released in India in 2015 and it has hit the Chinese theaters after 30 months and yet is doing amazing business. After five days, BB has pocketed $12.08 million i.e. Rs. 78.49 crores. Though it got more than 8,000 screens, the shows are limited as compared to Aamir Khan’s Dangal and Secret Superstar. In pan-China, BB got 17,000 shows and is slowly marching towards 100 crores.
Well, while Salman’s debut release in the neighbouring country is doing healthy business, it seems impossible that it will even come close to Secret Superstar, which made more than Rs 760 crores there. And as far as Dangal is concerned, it did a record-shattering business of Rs. 1850 crores i.e. around $190 million.
