Bareilly Ki Barfi remains super sturdy at the box-office!

Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s directorial Bareilly Ki Barfi starring Ayushman Khurana , Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles is rock solid. The refreshing story has been successfully bringing in audience to the theatres. The film has received mixed reviews from the critics but carries a positive word of mouth. This sweet Barfi is enjoying a consistent run at the box-office so far.
The film made Rs. 2.42 crores on its opening Friday, Rs. 3.85 crores on Saturday and growing further, it made Rs. 5.03 crores on Sunday. Further, it raked in Rs. 1.85 crores on Monday, Rs. 2 crores on Tuesday and Rs. 1.63 crores on Wednesday. Hence the total collection stands at Rs. 17.05 crores. The movie has been made on a small tight budget and hence cost recovery does not seem a problem and the same pace is maintained during the weekdays.
In the film, Kriti Sanon plays the break dancer Bitti while Rajkummar Rao essays the author and Ayushman plays the publisher’s role. The movie will receive tough competition from the three new releases on Friday namely Qaidi Band, Babumoshai Bandukbaaz, and A Gentleman. Bareilly Ki Barfi may round up to a good total if remained stable in the coming days.
