Box Office: Jugjugg Jeeyo registers phenomenal growth on day 2; mints in 12.75 Cr

Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer Jugjugg Jeeyo has registered a phenomenal jump on day two of its release. Collections of the film increased by 40 percent on Saturday as early trends suggest business in the range of Rs. 12.50 to Rs. 13 crore. 

This takes the two-day collection of the comic entertainer to Rs. 22 crore, a remarkable feat for any Hindi movie during the pandemic time.

The film has registered a jump in the metro cities, with Mumbai and Delhi leading the list. It is also doing decent business in some of the tier II cities. 

As compared to morning shows, the evening and night shows are turning out better in terms of footfall.

The jump on day two has further brightened the prospects of the Raj Mehta directorial. There's a high possibility that the Sunday collections of Jugjugg Jeeyo will consolidate by another significant jump in box office numbers. 

Trade analysts opine that if the comedy flick manages to do well in tier II cities like Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Jaipur on Sunday, then it is well headed to a Rs 35 crore weekend.
