Radhe Shyam (2022)was released in theatres worldwide on March 11 in several languages. On its first day, the highly anticipated film starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde grossed a considerable sum of cash.
The opening day of Radhe Shyam was a mixed bag, with the overall performance being unsatisfactory. On Friday, it grossed approximately Rs. 42 crores, with a share of approximately Rs. 29.50 crores, which is less than half of what Saaho (Rs. 86.35 crores) released in 2019.
Despite earning mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, Radhe Shyam is projected to fare well at the box office. On its first day in India, the film allegedly grossed over Rs 48 crore net across all languages. On Day 1, the film reportedly grossed over Rs 28 crores in Telugu states, while it grossed over Rs 4.8 crores in Hindi. The film's first-day performance can be classified as Excellent in Nizam, Average in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, and Poor in the rest of the country.
The film has grossed over $1 million in the United States alone, and over 1.13 crores in Australia. In some locations, the film is also said to have broken records as the year's biggest opener.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam stars Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The plot centres around the romance between a fortune teller and a princess. Bhagyashree, Sathyaraj, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, and Priyadarshi are among the cast members of the film.
