Despite rash reception at the box-office, Tubelight slips in the 100 crores Club!

It is a fact that most of the Bollywood cine-goers felt trashed and some even went to the extent of calling it a disappointment, but it still managed to get passed its entry in the 100 crore club, but might not with the grace of true Salman Khan Film! Masses and classes were all hyped when Tubelight, starring Box Office mogul Salman Khan was releasing his film. And it all went downhill as it hits the silver screens and, even his genuine fan base was disappointed to see the film. Yet it still managed to rope in a 100 crore collection at the Box Office.

On Friday release, it started with slow earning of 21.15 crores, not as per Salman’s standard! And on Saturday it earned 21.17 crores, reaching earnings to 22.45 crores on Sunday. But the most hopeful for Salman Khan was on Eid on Monday, it earned just 19.09 crores recording its first drop in the graph. Then that downfall kept going on Tuesday with total earning of 12 crores, Wednesday was 6.50 crores and as per the latest reports, on Thursday it was just 4.50 crores, making a total of 106.86 crores. Though, it wouldn't be a complete disaster as most of the revenue is covered and now it is just hustling for the tag of ‘a Hit!’

Tubelight is directed by Kabir Khan and it is a story of a person who follows his journey and believes in finding his brother in a war conflicted region. The casting of this film includes Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu and late Om Puri! The film is still running in the theatres.
