Despite new releases every Friday, Ajay Devgn's suspense thriller remained invincible at the box office. In the post-pandemic era, when Bollywood films are struggling to maintain themselves in theatres for a week, Drishyam 2 is still holding strong even three weeks after its premiere. The movie is doing better financially than movies like Bhediya, Salaam Venky, and An Action Hero. At the domestic box office, Drishyam 2 starring Ajay Devgn has made more than Rs 200 crore.

Drishyam 2, which was directed by Abhishek Pathak, has seen a phenomenal increase in sales over the previous two weeks. The creators announced on Sunday that Drishyam 2 had surpassed Rs 200 crore at the domestic box office. The latest box office data for the movie, which debuted to rave reviews on November 18, was released by the production company Panorama Studios. Director Abhishek Pathak directed the movie "Drishyam 2," which has been unstoppable to record since its premiere. It is based on the eponymous 2021 Malayalam movie and serves as a sequel to the 2015 movie Drishyam, which was itself adapted from the corresponding 2013 Malayalam movie.

The sequel introduces a new twist with the case being reopened and Vijay confessing, but will he actually do what the story is about? In the movie, Tabu plays the role of IG Meera Deshmukh. In addition to Ajay Devgn and Tabu, other actors in the movie include Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta.
