The movie has successfully sold over 612,000 tickets through the online booking platform, BookMyShow, as of Monday. Impressively, the film garnered around 85.53k ticket sales on Saturday, 233.15k on Sunday, and a remarkable 293.33k on Monday alone through the platform. The anticipation for the Thalaivar's film has translated into a remarkable achievement for director Nelson Dilipkumar in the United States. ‘Jailer’ has achieved premiere advance ticket sales amounting to approximately $664,000 as of Monday. This feat surpasses the director's previous project ‘Beast’, featuring Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde, which generated around $658,000 in ticket sales.

Notably, ‘Jailer’ has positioned itself as one of the most anticipated films in the Singapore market, following closely behind Christopher Nolan's ‘Oppenheimer’ and Greta Gerwig's ‘Barbie’. Furthermore, it ranks among the top five eagerly awaited Tamil movies in the North American market.

The cumulative sales for ‘Jailer’ have reached approximately $828,000 (around Rs 6.86 crore) so far. This achievement places ‘Jailer’ alongside Rajinikanth's other successful films like "Kabali" ($1.92 million or Rs 15.89 crore), Mani Ratnam's "Ponniyin Selvan" ($1.03 million or Rs 8.52 crore), ‘2.0’($982,000 or Rs 8.12 crore) starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, and ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ ($737,000 or Rs 6.09 crore) featuring Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai.

Significantly, ticket prices for ‘Jailer’ screenings in Bengaluru span from Rs 800 to Rs 1,400, with showtimes commencing as early as 6 am on August 10. The storyline of ‘Jailer’ revolves around Muthuvel Pandian, a compassionate yet strict jailer who discovers a gang's plot to free their leader from prison.
