Leo Box Office: Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Film Becomes The HIGHEST Grossing Tamil Film In History With Rs 461 Crore Global Profits In First Week!

Lokesh Kanagaraj's ‘Leo’ continues to dominate the international box office. According to the latest update, the film has now become the highest-grossing film in Tamil cinema history. The production company, Seven Screen Studios, has revealed the film's latest profits, which totalled over 461 crore in its first week globally.

Ramesh Bala, a film trade expert, tweeted the new figures, "#LEO official collection update from Production house @7screenstudio For 1st week." Vijay appears in ‘Leo’, which marks his comeback with Lokesh following their 2021 film ‘Master’.

In India, ‘Leo’ is doing just as well at the ticket counter. According to the latest Sacnilk.com data, ‘Leo’ broke the 266-crore milestone in India on day 7, completing one week of its release.

‘Leo’ had a spectacular premiere when the production company petitioned the Madras High Court to enable the picture to be exhibited as early as 4 a.m. across Tamil Nadu cinema halls on its release day.

On its first day, the film grossed 64.8 crore [48.96 crore in Tamil, 12.9 crore in Telugu, 2.8 crore in Hindi, and 14 lakh in Kannada]. On day seven, the film earned 13.4 crore [Tamil: 9.85 crore; Telugu: 1.85 crore; Hindi: 1.55 crore; Kannada: 15 lakh], continuing its steady ascent. As previously said, ‘Leo’ earned around 11 crore nett in India for all languages on Thursday, bringing the total to 266.35 crore.

‘Leo’ also stars Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Sarja in addition to Vijay. The film was released the previous Thursday.
