There is no doubt that Megastar Chiranjeevi has numerous fans across the country. He is one of the most versatile and adored actors in the South. And the Megastar’s recent release Godfather has a mega opening at the box office. According to trade sources, GodFather made over Rs 38 crore on day one after a solid opening at the box office. Sources claim that since Chiranjeevi's comeback a few years ago, this is the film's finest opening to include him.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the numbers on Twitter and mentioned Godfather's huge opening of Rs 38 crores worldwide. It is also predicted that the movie would maintain its high performance into the holiday season and upcoming weekend. At the theatres, GodFather clashed with Nagarjuna's The Ghost, but it had already exceeded it by a significant margin in advance bookings. We'll now have to wait to see the weekend numbers as other big films like Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, Dhanush's Naane Varuven, and Pushkar-Gayathri's Vikram Vedha are simultaneously running in the theatres.

Salman Khan has a lengthy cameo appearance in the political action drama Godfather, which is directed by Mohan Raja. Along with other notable actors, it also prominently stars Nayanthara, Satyadev, and Murali Sharma. The Godfather is a Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, which starred Mohan Lal and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
