Aamir Khan's Dangal to set records in China, crossing over 450 crores!

Dangal already made history and also set many records post its release in India. There is no point denying Aamir Khan ’s star power to this film, but its content and the stellar performances by other actors in this movie achieved cult status. Despite released on very end of the year, it also broke box office record of Sultan, which made it to the 300 crores club. Though in most cases, the box office collections from the overseas market are mostly in a big fraction of what domestic collection, but Dangal changed that equation too.
Dangal ’s Box office report card in Chinese market opened with a big bang. The film is already in its second week and still cashing millions in its collection. On this Monday, Dangal earned around $ 4.95 mn continuing with a minor drop on Tuesday with $ 4.92 mn in the collection! And till this date, Dangal earned $ 70.33 million, which is Rs. 450.39 crores.
Apart from record breaking and setting box office milestones, Dangal was critically celebrated for its values of parenthood, women empowerment, and sports spirit for Kushti. One of the key aspects of the film was its story, which was about a father, who lost hope for not winning the gold medal for the country, decided to go against customs and train his daughters to fulfill his dream! Such intricate plotline was beautifully executed by director Nitesh Tiwari and portrayed by ensemble casting!
