Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi opens up to a terrific start at the domestic box-office. The young stars had indulged into extensive promotions and created huge buzz on the social media. That might have helped them to pull the audience to the theatres on day 1. The action drama made Rs. 11.87 crores at the domestic front.

Sabbir Khan ’s directorial film has received mixed reviews from the critics but, carries a positive word of mouth amongst the audience. The young love story and the action sequences are the major selling points of the film.
Baaghi has been released in 2750 screens in India and 344 screens abroad. The movie has become the third highest opener of 2016. Made with a total budget of 47 crores including P & A, the film has already recovered 25 crores from selling the satellite and music rights.
If the film continues an upward trend at the box-office, it will soon enter the profit zone.
