'Drishyam' (Weekend 2) Crosses The 50 Crore Mark!
'Drishyam' witnessed decent box-office collections and has finally crossed the 50 crore mark.
'Drishyam' which is riding on good reviews and positive word of mouth has collected a decent share for itself at the domestic box-office. On its second weekend, the film managed to rake in a decent amount and hence crossed the 50 crore mark. The film's current total collection stands at around Rs. 53 crores.
The film had an added advantage as the last Friday releases viz. 'Bangistan' and 'Jaanisaar' failed miserable at the box-office. The suspense thriller faced tough competition from the Hollywood film 'Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation' which is running strong at the theatres.
Ajay Devgn starrer movie is expected to do more business in the coming weekdays, further its collections may drop after the next Friday release, which is Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra starrer 'Brothers'.
