First Day Box Office Collection of 'Boss'
Akshay Kumar starrer \'Boss\' registered an average opening of around 50-60%. However, positive reviews are predicted to lift the film up into the 100 crores club soon.

Yesterday, on 16th of October, the masses celebrated the auspicious occasion of Eid nation wide. With lots of fun, food and celebrations, there came a time to welcome the "Boss of entertainment". Yes, Akshay Kumar starrer ' Boss ' which went through lots of promotions with hell lot of chartbursting track list, finally came out with a bang to lure the masses, this holiday.
Call it the impact of the superstar Akshay Kumar or the magic of promos or songs, the masses were attracted to the screens for sure. The Anthony D'Souza directed grabbed the initial day of the holiday thus, was expected to create a boom at the box office. Though many of the public were granted leave, few of them were still working and this directly impacted the screenings.
Releasing in around 3000 screens nationwide, the first day accumulated a decent share of 50-60% of audiences luring themselves upon this treat. Whereas, the multiplexes viewers offered a lukewarm response, the single screen masses paddled the accelerator of this mass entertainer.
As the day came to an end, ' Boss ' also featuring Mithun Chakraborty , Shiv Pandit and Aditi Rao Hydari , too took a leave along with registering a reported first day collection of around 19 crores approximately. Thus, the first day went off quite decent, we hope the four day long span would nurture to increase the collection quite high, also predicting it to create a space for itself in the 100 crores club really soon!
