First Day Box Office Collection of 'Grand Masti'
\'Grand Masti\' released on September 13, got a grand opening at the box office, with maximum occupancy, as compared to \'John Day\' and \'Horror Story\'.

This week's Friday offered the audience three different genre movies, namely, ' Horror Story ', ' John Day ' and ' Grand Masti ', that are based on horror, thriller and adult comedy theme, respectively. This marked the beginning of race between these three films. From first day box office collection, it is estimated that so far, ' Grand Masti ' has been heading high, while competing with other two releases.
' Grand Masti ' have got the grand opening in Mumbai, Gujarat and Central India, with the rising bars in northern and southern territories. It is standing true to the predictions, which guessed that it would likely make the business of 9 crore nett and would hike up to 11 crore nett till the first day's evening shows.
' Horror Story ' and ' John Day ' have failed to reach even to the half gross earned by ' Grand Masti '. As per the sources, ' Grand Masti ' occupancy figures were, Rajkot Cosmoplex saw 70% occupancy in morning show, Eternity at Thane noted 45% occupancy early morning show, Surat Cinemax was housefull during morning and noon show, Mukta A2 Ahmedabad was also housefull in morning and noon shows, Kanpur witnessed opening of 75%, in Mysore, the opening was 65%, while in Delhi and NCR it was 55%.
' Grand Masti ', the sequel to 2004 hit flick ' Masti ', has backed with three male leads, Riteish Deshmukh , Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani and has added on six gorgeous female leads, to rearward the fun!
