Once again producer Ekta Kapoor landed with the crime-thriller, in which gangsters are glorified in a special way. Milan Luthria 's directorial venture ' Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara! ' spiced up the silver screens on August 15. The movie features Akshay Kumar , Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan in prime roles. The touted crime-saga was showcased in 1500 screens on the eve of Independence Day and from Friday, the movie will be presented in 2500 screens nationwide.

The news is that the numerological calculations and insertions helped the movie grab the much-anticipated response from the masses. The movie could prove itself as a box-office magnet, despite of the mixed reviews it bagged. However, this film is likely to confront tough challenge from ' Chennai Express ' that released on August 9 and going strong on the silver screens.

Going by the reports, the shows of ' Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara! ' observed approximately 70 to 80% occupancy during its afternoon shows and in the evening, it was 80 to 90%. The film took advantage of Independence Day occasion and came out with flying colours, gaining thumbs up from the movie-buffs. As per the early estimates, this thriller-flick conquered the target of around 8 to 8.5 crore nett, which is worth appreciation.

The film is anticipated to garner more and more figures during the approaching weekend. The real test for this thriller will commence when the next week will see another thriller-flick, ' Madras Cafe ' will lock horns with ' Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara! '
