First Weekend Box Office Collection of 'R... Rajkumar'

Prabhu Deva's fresh action-rom-com 'R... Rajkumar' starring Shahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonu Sood and Ashish Vidyarthi, released on December 6. The movie was loaded with action, romance, music and actors played their respective roles with gusto. However, the movie bagged mixed reviews, out of which most reviews were not-so-good as well as the word-of-mouth publicity was not alluring enough, reportedly.

Despite of these negative factors, 'R... Rajkumar' managed to score good figures at the box office on the first weekend of its release. The film performed well in the single screens and witnessed a good picture on Friday by collecting 10.20 crore nett. The Saturday was slightly low that earned 08.80 crore nett and again the scene got better on Sunday after getting 11.10 crore nett. Thus, the first weekend total box office collection of this action-saga can be summed up to 30.10 crore nett. Now, the first week box office collection of 'R... Rajkumar' will decide the overall success of the film. Nevertheless, the film is expected to garner around 43-45 crore nett in the first week of its release.
