First weekend collection of 'Finding Fanny' and 'Creature'
Rom-com genre movie 'Finding Fanny' defeats horror-drama film 'Creature' with its first weekend box-office collection
The release date of September 12 is the only thing similar in case of films 'Finding Fanny' and 'Creature'. Otherwise, the former is based on romantic comedy genre, the later projects horror drama on-screen. Let's check out further more differences with their diverging box-office figures.
Made up of INR 15 Cr budget 'Finding Fanny' marked its release in English and Hindi versions in over 1000 screens. While, 'Creature' was cashed with the budget of INR 28 Cr was released in Hindi language in over 1400 screens.
Going by their performance, 'Finding Fanny' earned good reviews by the critics and performed well in urban cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. 'Creature' was hampered for its faults; still it did bit of business in single screens of Indore, Kanpur and Jaipur.
On day 1, Friday, 'Finding Fanny' and 'Creature' earned INR 5.10 Cr and INR 3.24 Cr, respectively.
On day 2, Saturday, 'Finding Fanny' and 'Creature' collected INR 7.05 Cr and INR 3.64 Cr, respectively.
On day 3, Sunday, 'Finding Fanny' and 'Creature' made the business of INR 7.75 Cr and INR 4.48 Cr, respectively.
Therefore, the total first weekend box-office collection of 'Finding Fanny' and 'Creature' is INR 19.90 Cr and 11.36 Cr, respectively.
With this Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor's 'Finding Fanny' wins the race over Bipasha Basu's 'Creature'.
