Neerja Superb First Weekend Box-Office!

Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja is shining bright at box-office. The film has received immense love and appreciation from the audience. The critics have also lauded the film and its performers. Overall, the movie has fantastic buzz and the theatres are flooding with people.

Ram Madhwani’s directorial raked in Rs. 4.70 crores on Friday, Rs. 7.60 crores on Saturday, Rs. 9.71 crores on Sunday. Hence, the total first weekend collection stands at Rs. 22.01 crores at the domestic markets. The biopic film was released in 700 screens/limited shows.

The film Neerja is based on a real life incident where a 23 year old air hostess Neerja Bhanot loses her life while saving the lives of the 359 passengers of a high jacked plane.
