Released yesterday in China, Bajrangi Bhaijaan collects Rs. 14.61 crores on Day 1!

After doing a record-setting business in India, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan finally released in China. The film premiered in the neighbouring country a few days ago and yesterday, it finally released all across China. The movie released in more than 8000 screens and made healthy figures. As BB is the first movie of Salman to get released in the Chinese markets, it managed to cross the lifetime business of Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots on the first day itself. On day 1, the Kabir Khan’s directorial earned $2.24 million i.e. Rs. 14.61 crores and debuts at No. 7 position at China’s box office.

The movie was originally released in India in 2015 and it premiered in China after 30 long months. BB got 17000 shows in China and turned out to be the second highest grosser Indian film on day 1. The only movie ahead of BB is Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar, which did a splendid business on day 1 and earned Rs. 43.45 crores.

Apart from the Salman, the movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Harshali Malhotra and Kareena Kapoor Khan and it released in China with a new title, ‘Little Lolita Monkey God Uncle’.
