Ved, a Marathi movie starring Ritiesh Deshmukh, has been warmly received by the public. At the box office, the Marathi film is having a blast. A week after its debut, the movie has kept up its momentum and is actually performing better than it did throughout its initial weekend. Positive reviews have been helping the movie, and it's obvious that viewers want to experience the real-life famous couple's loving relationship on screen. Riteish appears in it alongside his wife, the actress Genelia D'Souza, and it also marks the actor's directorial debut. Ved is a remake of the Telugu film Majili, which starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya.

Ved’s Day 10 collections

Early trade reports state that on the tenth day after its release, Ved brought in Rs 6 Cr. The movie has made around Rs 30 Cr in total receipts. Ved, starring Jiya Shankar, Genelia Deshmukh, and Riteish Deshmukh, concluded its first week with a very impressive Rs 20.67 crores. No Bollywood film is now performing well at the box office, which has also benefited Ved. The Hollywood film Avatar: The Way Of Water is the only competition it has, although Ved hasn't really been impacted by it.

Ved ‘madness’ everywhere

The movie also serves as Genelia's Marathi film debut. Genelia made the announcement that Ved would be her first Marathi partner in December of the previous year. Fans of Ved are swarming the theatres for multiple reasons. It has Salman Khan as a special guest in addition to the perfect chemistry between Riteish and Genelia. The Bollywood superstar filmed a song for the film Ved. Apart from this, the actor has been actively promoting his film on his social media and at various events.
