Shubh Mangal Saavdhan sails steadily in week 2 despite new releases!

They managed to charm the audience in the past and now they do it again! The hit pair Ayushman Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar once again strike a perfect chord in their latest release Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The movie has been performing decently and has remained steady in week 2 despite the new releases at the domestic box-office.

The movie is based on a sexual theme yet due to its skillful and clean presentation it received a UA with one cut by the new CBFC. The movie made Rs. 1.54 crores on Friday, Rs. 2.95 crores on Saturday and Rs. 3.34 crores on Sunday. It further made Rs. 1.04 crores on Monday, hence the total collection stands at Rs. 32.90 crores at the domestic markets. This small budget movie is turning out to be a sleeper hit.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan has been directed by R. S. Prasanna and talks about the problem of erectile dysfunction and performance anxiety in males. The actors perform brilliantly and the light hearted tale has been well accepted by the critics as well as the audience.
