Unbelievable: In China, ‘Secret Superstar’ collects close to Rs. 175 crores in its first weekend!
‘Secret Superstar’ collects Rs. 174.10 crores in 3 days in China. These collections are double than ‘Dangal’.

It’s high time that we should start calling Aamir Khan the superstar of China. His previous film, ‘ Dangal ’, dazzled the Chinese audiences and collected approximately $ 200 million and now, his latest flick, ‘ Secret Superstar , is doing a jaw-dropping business at the Chinese box office. Released in China last Friday, the Zaira Wasim starrer ‘ Secret Superstar ’ collected 43.35 crores on day 1 and by the end of the first weekend, the movie managed to pocket a mammoth amount of Rs. 174.10 crores. On first Friday, the movie earned $ 6.88 million, on Saturday, the collection was $ 10.50 million and yesterday i.e. Sunday, it raked in $ 9.84 million, taking the grand close to 175 crores in just three days.
Interestingly, ‘ Secret Superstar ’ which stars Aamir Khan in an extended cameo has so far done more than double the business as compared to Aamir’s ‘ Dangal’ . ‘ Dangal ’ on day 1 in China, collected $ 2.27 million i.e. 14.67 crores, on day 2, it earned $ 4.69 million i.e. 30.30 crores and on day 3 it pocketed in $ 5.55 million i.e. 35.86 cores. And grand total on 1st weekend was $ 12.51 million i.e. Rs. 80.83 crores.
