Vikram box office collection: Kamal Hassan’s biggest hit inching towards Rs. 400 crore worldwide

Vikram, the multi-starrer film, is still going strong and not ready to slow down. The film has now surpassed the Rs 350 crore mark at the global box office and is on its way to reaching the Rs. 400 crore mark worldwide. The theatrical run of the high-profile film will be extended for two more weeks, according to trade reports, with a healthy box office take. The movie is an action thriller which has appealed to a large number of the audience.
Since its release on June 3, the film has dominated the box office. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features a few of the biggest and finest actors in the south industry which include Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, and Suriya. Suriya has an extended cameo in the film. Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Vasanthi, Gayathrie, and Santhana Bharathi, among others, are seen playing supporting roles.
Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, wrote: "Vikram is not only an INDUSTRY HIT but it’s also one of the most profitable movies in Tamil Cinema. In all Southern states and Overseas, it is doing phenomenal business even in 3rd week with houseful shows which is very rare. 17 days Total TN gross 160+ crore (sic)."
Looking at the craze the fans have for these stars and the numbers rising every day, it seems Vikram will continue to rule the box office for a few more days with no major contenders.
