Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt to star together in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood!

Excitement Alert! The two biggest stalwarts of Hollywood, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, are finally doing a film together. The two A-Listers have been approached by maestro filmmaker, Quentin Tarantino, for his upcoming film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Both the actors have a professional career of around 3 decades but they never shared the screen together. Interestingly both of them have worked with Tarantino before, while Leo played a negative character in Django Unchained, Brad played a lead role in Inglourious Bastards.

Quentin, who is writing and directing the film, described the film by saying “a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. Talking about the characters of Leo will play the former star of a western TV series named Rick Dalton, whereas Brad portrays his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth. Talking about the story, Tarantino said, “Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour…Sharon Tate.”

Talking about the script and the story, the Oscar award winner Tarantino said in a statement, “I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was 7 years old.” He further added, “I’m very excited to tell this story of an L.A., and a Hollywood that doesn’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff.”

In the past, Quentin has delivered movies like Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, Kill Bill series, Reservoir Dogs, Inglourious Bastards and many more.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will hit the worldwide screens on 09th August 2019.
