Spielberg's next directorial 'The Post' boasts of an impressive lineup of actors!

Acclaimed filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s new movie, The Post, which recounts The Washington Post’s publication of the classified Pentagon Papers of 1970, has caught the attention of all film enthusiasts across the world. Apart from the fact that the Oscar-winning filmmaker Spielberg is at the helm of affairs, what makes the film highly anticipated is its stellar star cast. With Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep playing lead roles, the cast of the historical drama is downright incredible. Apart from tony performers like Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep, the film has a very talented ensemble cast including the likes of Alison Brie, Bob Odenkirk, Bradley Whitford, Bruce Greenwood, Carrie Coon, David Cross, Jesse Plemons, Matthew Rhys, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sarah Paulson, Tracy Letts, and Zach Woods.

Carrie Coon has proved her acting mettle by delivering awe-inspiring performances in the HBO drama series The Leftovers and the David Fincher directorial The Gonegirl. Bruce Greenwood, on the other hand, has surprised the audience with his mesmeric acts in films like Last Dancer, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Thirteen Days, and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, to name a few. Jesse Plemons is remembered for his impeccable performance as mobster Kevin Weeks in Black Mass. Michael Stuhlbarg has won audiences hearts with his performances in movies like A Serious Man, Men in Black 3 and Steve Jobs. Spielberg has very intelligently picked up film, television, and theatre actors to fill out his cast.
