Kylie Jenner becomes first woman influencer in the world to clock 300 million followers

Kylie Jenner is an entrepreneur who runs her own cosmetic brand, Kylie’s Cosmetics. In March 2019, Forbes announced that she was the youngest self-made billionaire at the age of 21.

Now, Kylie has hit another milestone. After professional footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, with 388 million followers, Kylie is the second most followed person on Instagram with 300 million followers, and she is also the most followed woman on the photo-sharing app. Pop star Ariana Grande previously held this record.

Kylie hit the milestone despite being not very active on the app. Kylie, who is expecting her second child with rapper Travis Scott, took some time off social media after 10 concertgoers died at Scott's Astroworld Festival show in Houston. She returned to Instagram on Christmas Eve with a throwback picture of her mother, Kris Jenner. Since then, Kylie has shared two posts on the platform, both from her pregnancy photo-shoots.

Previously, Kylie also held the title of most liked picture on the platform, which was the picture of her daughter Stormi, but later she lost the title to a picture of an egg in 2019.
