Sophie Turner reveals the reason behind turning down Kendall Jenner’s invitation for the Met Gala after party

Sophie Turner opened up about why she ended up eating pasta in bed after the Met Gala instead of partying with Kendall Jenner. Despite her worldwide popularity and recognition, the Game of Thrones (2011) actress revealed she still feels starstruck during her appearance on Friday's (May 6) The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Sophie said her anxiety got the best of her after the fashion show when she ran across Kendall, who asked her to her afterparty.

Sophie spoke about her decision to reject Jenner's offer on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, saying, "[Kendall] was at the Met and I love the Kardashians. I think she's so gorgeous in real life and I was so, like, struck by her beauty. She invited me to…this low-key afterparty. And she went, ‘Do you want to come?” Sophie responded to her by saying, "'No, no, no.' I don't.”

However, after declining Jenner's offer, the actress expressed regret and remarked, "And I'm like, 'Why? Why do I do this to myself?’” Sophie revealed what she did after the Met Gala by saying, "I just sat in bed and ate pasta and I was like, ‘Could be somewhere else right now.'"

Sophie later discussed her first unofficial date with Joe Jonas, her spouse of three years and father of their daughter Willa, in the interview. The celebrity, who is expecting their second child, said she sobbed tears of delight after meeting the pop artist for the first time with a group of pals, who ended up throwing their own afterparty at her house.
