Wolverine star Hugh Jackman buys a stunning penthouse in New York

Wolverine actor and Hollywood megastar Hugh Jackman has purchased a luxury New York penthouse in West Chelsea for US$21.125 million.

According to a report by The Dirt, the penthouse was earlier priced at US$25 million. However, Jackman has bought it at a discounted price now.

From what we know, the property faces the Hudson River in Manhattan’s West Chelsea. The building, in which the penthouse is located, has been designed by noted French architect Jean Nouvel.

As per reports, Jackman's new penthouse boasts of four bedrooms with stylish interiors, flooring and a stunning marble staircase.

The roof terrace overlooks Manhattan, offering a picturesque view of the Empire State Building and the skyscrapers-dotted skyline of NYC.

On work front, it was announced in April 2021 that Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern will star together in Florian Zeller's adaptation of his stage play, The Son. The Australian actor returned to Broadway in a revival of The Music Man, playing Harold Hill, which began previews in December 2021 and opened on 10 February 2022.

For his performance, Jackman received his second nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
