Zendaya skips Met Gala 2022: I'll keep delivering in other ways

As the Met Gala is approaching netizens are eagerly waiting to see their favorite celebrities rocking designer outfits. But unfortunately, Zendaya won’t be taking part in this event as the actress has to complete her prior commitments.

“I’m sorry to disappoint my fans here but I will be working,” the actress shared on Wednesday, as per an online portal. Zendaya has a busy schedule as she will be featuring in exciting projects.

She also gave us a hint about her next movie, “Your girl’s got to work and make some movies, so I wish everyone the best. I will be playing tennis…but I will be back eventually.” The tennis comment was made as Zendaya will be shooting her forthcoming romance drama, Challengers. Zendaya will play the role of, a “tennis player turned coach” who forces her husband, Mike, to compete in a tournament on the lower-level professional tennis Challenger circuit against his former best buddy and her former lover.

She also assured, “I'll keep delivering in other ways.”

Meanwhile, the Met Gala will be held on May 2 and stars such as Deepika Padukone and Katy Perry are already getting excited about their other worldly looks.
