CBI 5: The Brain Twitter response ranges from positive to mixed reviews!

Helmed by K. Madhu and written by S. N. Swami featuring Mammootty as Sethurama Iyer CBI 5 : The Brain released today. The fifth instalment to the CBI series have managed to garner lukewarm response from the audience.

Speaking of the plot, CBI 5 The Brain revolves around an investigation regarding basket killing of several people connected to each other. The conspiracy behind the killing and how Iyer manage to crack is the rest of the movie.

While the audience is appreciating the first half of the film but the story failed to keep the viewers engaged till the end.

A Twitter user wrote, “A Good First Half with mainly setting up the plot.. mammukka’s majestic walk with that bgm So far Good..All eyes to the Secondhalf..! Highly Unexpected kinda making from K.Madhu.”

Another viewer tweeted, “#CBI5TheBrain ended up as just a watchable flick because of weak script. The way #Jagathy was placed & the scene was really the gearshifter of the movie Other than that only the tail end impresses mammukka starrer failed to match the brain of audience today.”

Above average outing.
Flat & very unimpressive 1st half, followed by a decent 2nd half and climax.

Everything is okayish (not bad and not perfect) such as writing, making, twist, motive, etc.
