A filmmaker claims that T Series stole his work and used it as the idea for Riteish Deshmukh's Mister Mummy

One of the most popular couples in the Bollywood industry, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'souza, are getting ready to shoot their new movie Mister Mummy, but even before it hits theatres, a filmmaker from Kolkata has accused the film's creator of plagiarism. He asserted that after discussing the pregnant man-centered script for Vicky Pet Se with T-Series, the production company went on to write a "sh** version" of his original.

Filmmaker Akash from Kolkata claims that T-Series stole his original story for Riteish Deshmukh's upcoming movie Mister Mummy and has claimed credit for it. The "Mister Mummy" trailer has been out and has generated much interest. Akash Chatterjee, a young producer from Kolkata, has claimed that the creators of "Mister Mummy" stole the idea for the movie and the script from him. He claims that the plot of the Shaad Ali-directed movie "Mister Mummy" was taken directly from the script he gave the movie's producers.

On Facebook, Akash posted: “We had a detailed discussion with T-series in 2020 regarding my film Pet se and they had agreed to Co Produce. Later they come up with their sh** version (without any logic) of my film. My Story and concept is registered with SWA, Mumbai. #tseries #CreditDue.” The pictures he shared show Ayushmann Khurrana in the titular role in Pet Se.”

Additionally, Akash posted screenshots that demonstrate how he created a fake poster for his 2020 movie Pet Se. After T-Series released the first Mister Mummy trailer, the post was published shortly after. While Mahesh Manjrekar plays the part of a doctor, the trailer has Riteish as an expecting man. As soon as it caught people's attention, several people began to comment on it. "Bhai, don't allow them get away with this so easily," one person said.
