This film is based on the story from Lakshmi Puran in Hindu Mythology. Anciently, the untouchables were not allowed to pray , worship and do rituals. Sriya, an untouchable woman offers her prayers to lord Jagannatha and his elder brother Balram. When the lord refuses to accept the prayers enraging Goddess Lakshmi who wants to end the discrimination on the earth. She decides to teach a lesson to her husband and brother in law and curses them and leaves them. After parting from Goddess Lakshmi, the duo Lord Jagannath and Lord Balram become hungry, homeless and travel to village by village in search of food and shelter but in vain and Goddess Lakshmi is determined to teach a lesson to both and end discrimination between the devotees of the lord.
