A fresh start for Imran Khan’s career but in a new direction!

Imran Khan, as a child, was seen in movies like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (1992). In the both films, he played the role of a young Aamir Khan.

Imran made his debut as an adult with the film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008). The film was produced by Mansoor Khan and Aamir Khan, it was the directorial debut of Abbas Tyrewala. The film was a success at the box office and the actor also won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance in the film. Although, his next two films did not go well at the box office and Imran was titled as “one film wonder”.

Imran did a number of commercial films after his debut film. He was last seen in the movie Katti Batti opposite Kangana Ranaut in 2015. The movie did not farewell at the box office. Since then he has been missing in action for quite a long time now.

Recent news claims that Imran Khan is all set to make a new entry into the industry, as a director this time. The film will be produced by Imran’s uncle and mentor Aamir Khan. They both last worked together in Delly Belly. This new film is the actor's own script on which he has started working. It will be interesting to see Imran's new phase in the industry as he tries his hand at direction!
