Aamir Khan might sign Mogul, but conditions apply!
Aamir is currently busy finishing his upcoming biggie, Thugs Of Hindostan, produced by Yash Raj Films.
Last year, T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar announced the biopic on his late father, Gulshan Kumar, with superstar Akshay Kumar with much fanfare. However, two months later or so, reports started doing the rounds that Kumar has walked out of the project citing creative differences. After Akshay quit the film, the makers reportedly approached Aamir Khan for the biopic. The latest we hear that Mr. Perfectionist may give his nod to the project provided Bhushan Kumar complies with the condition put forward by him.
According to reports, Aamir Khan wants that the makers do not show music composer Nadeem Saifi, who was accused of murdering the music baron, in a bad light.
“Nadeem was accused by the Mumbai police of killing Gulshan Kumar in 1997 with the aid of the underworld. Nadeem has fled the country and since settled in London. Three of Aamir’s films - Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahin, Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke and Raja Hindustani - have had music by Nadeem-Shravan.”
“Aamir wants the human side of Gulshan Kumar to come out in the film rather than it being a chronology of the events in the life of the music company owner and film producer,” added the source.
An official announcement on the project is highly awaited.
